Delivery

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We deliver only in the UK at present.

Before placing your order on our website please note that we may not be able to deliver certain items to the following postcodes:

KW

PA20 and above

IV16 and above

PH35 and above

The reason for this is that we use different couriers for different product types. 

Unfortunately at the moment we do not deliver sofas to Ireland and Northern Ireland, although we may be able to deliver smaller items to these areas. 

If you live within the above postcodes/areas, please email us at sales@glamhomestore.com before placing your order, so we can check if we are able to deliver your items.

 

Delivery Times

Furniture, Lighting and Accessories

Many of our items are able to be delivered to your home address within one week. Some items are made to order in our workshop or by contractors so these items will generally take longer to make.
We always aim to put an estimated delivery timeframe on each product description, so please check the product page - or if you would like to chat to us, email sales@glamhomestore.com.

Beds

Most or our beds are stock products so will usually be dispatched within 48 hours of your order being placed. You WILL need to assemble your bed yourself. Your delivery will come in up to three separate boxes plus a mattress if you've ordered one. The beds all come with instruction of how to assemble and are all relatively straightforward. We have faith in your DIY skills!  

Sofas

Most sofas are available for delivery within two weeks.

After we receive your order, we place the order with the relevant sofa factory who will either locate the stock or begin to make your order.

You will be contacted by the courier when they pick up your order from the factory, so please be aware that there will be a timeframe (usually around a week) before you are contacted by the courier. Please ensure that you have entered the right contact number at checkout. The courier company will try to leave a message for you so remember to check your voicemail. If you have no voicemail, the company will continue to call until they get an answer - if they are not able to get hold of you, this may delay your delivery.

The courier companies operate in certain areas of the UK on certain days. This is so that they can keep their routes efficient, completing a few customer deliveries in the area at a time. The courier company will offer you an initial date for delivery when they call. If you refuse the first date, they will offer you another date. Please note that our two week delivery time is quoted on the first delivery date offer given. The next available delivery date may be outside of the two weeks, although wherever possible they will try to get the order to you within the two weeks.

You have up to 24 hours before had to change your delivery with the courier, if you were to cancel or ask to postpone your delivery within this time frame you will still be liable for the delivery cost and may also be required to pay an additional delivery charge of up to £75.

What happens on the day of delivery for a sofa?

  • A delivery team will call you one hour beforehand to let you know they are on their way.
  • A dedicated 2 man delivery team will arrive at your delivery address.
  • Your sofa will then be brought in to your room of choice.
  • You can then confirm that you are happy with your new sofa - or if you have any questions or concerns, let the delivery team know. Please also pop us an email if you have any problems so we can help out (sales@glamhomestore.com).
  • You can relax on your new sofa!

What if my new furniture doesn’t fit?

It’s really important that you check your room dimensions with your new furniture dimensions. All the measurements are on our website so you can measure up and work out if your new purchase will fit into your house and importantly in to your room.

Remember to measure - doors, hallways, corridors, stairways and any space that the product will need to move through. A top tip is to take any pictures, mirrors etc that are in the space that the sofa will have to come through on the day of delivery and make sure the space is clear to set up your new sofa.

If the worst happens and it won’t fit, Glam Home Store will do their utmost to help you come up with an alternative.

What if I'm not happy with my product?

Sometimes things don't always go to plan. If this is the case, rectifying the issue becomes the most important thing we can do. We advise that you check all of your products on arrival and inform the delivery driver that there is an issue with the product before you sign for it. Next inform us of any issues within 48 hours of receiving the delivery and we'll do our upmost to resolve the situation for you.
